Price per door is the list price divided by 3, the number of dwelling units a edmonton triplex contains. Unit counts are not published in the MLS® feed for this property class, so the figure is derived from the building type rather than read from a field — which is why it is shown only for structures whose type states the unit count unambiguously. It is a comparison tool, not an appraisal: it takes no account of unit mix, condition, rents in place, or capital work required.
